Diese beiden Erkenntniszustände heissen Savichārā– und Nirvichārā-Samāpatti, wenn es sich um subtile Objekte handelt.

etayā = durch dieses
eva = sogar, auch
savicārā = mit Untersuchung, Savichara Samapatti, der nächst subtilere Zustand von Samapatti
nirvicārā = ohne Untersuchung, Nirvichara Samapatti, der nächst subtilere Zustand von Samapatti
ca = und
sūkṣma = subtil
viṣaya = Objekt
vyākhyātā = beschrieben, erklärt

Erklärung: Die dritte und die vierte Stufe der Erkenntnis entsprechen den ersten beiden Stufen, beziehen sich jedoch auf äußerst subtile Themen.
